  • Ideas drawn for GoldLadder, a new concept agency for search-based advertising.

2002

  • GoldLadder Partnership is launched.
  • Solutions from Overture (now yahoo), Espotting (now Miva)
  • SEO solutions based around Google and Inktomi.
  • Year one a complete success!

2003

  • Google Adwords added and quickly becomes leading paid search solution.
  • Proprietary tracking methods developed, years before today's standards.

2004

  • GoldLadder Ltd formed
  • Colin Butcher joins company to head up SEO team
  • Relocation of office
  • Major campaigns started with holidayroomsdirect.com and Financial times.

2005

  • Adwords Accreditation and additional Google resources provided as an agency partner.
  • GoldLadder work globally with Lloyd’s of London
  • A range of Pay Per Click tools developed and tested
  • End of Google’s 15% agency Adwords commission sees inflow of new clients

2006

  • Further growth and new training services require new relocation.
  • GoldLadder begin website upgrades and development to enhance ROI.
  • New SME packaged solutions launched at Internet World Show, London

2007

  • Holidayroomsdirect top the Sunday Times Techtrak100 in 2007
  • Microsoft Adcenter joins existing PPC search platforms
  • Adwords content network overhaul gives campaigns extra performance in new areas

2008

  • GoldLadder further enhance training and consultancy facilities
  • New website solutions offered with SEO and PPC quality score features as standard.
  • Logo and image rebrand
